My name is Crosbie Atamaniuk. I am a senior at Middle Tennessee State University. I live in Franklin, TN. I love singing and modeling as well as living a healthy lifestyle.

What aspect of fitness do you enjoy the most?

My favorite part of fitness is the endorphins I get after every workout. I love to workout in the morning and they make me feel amazing for the rest of the day.

How long have you been into fitness?

I’ve always been an active person but my real fitness journey began about 2 years ago.

How did you get into fitness?

I realized I didn’t look the way I wanted to look. I had done a lot of laying around and eating unhealthy for too long and it resulted in me gaining weight. This caused me to be unhappy so after long enough I decided I needed to make a change.

What was a turning point for you to take it seriously?

When I found out I had gained 30lbs since high school. I’ve always been a tall, lean woman and this really hurt my self esteem.

How has fitness impacted your life?

My fitness journey has resulted in my happiness. I have been come a less depressed and anxious person has a result of my fitness journey.

What words of advice or encouragement would you like to give to someone who is just starting out or would like to start but doesn’t know where to begin?

Start small and work your way up. It’s better to work out for 15 minutes a Day then to do nothing at all. As soon as you start, try to make it a habit and you’ll start to feel the results right away. Never give up! Never compare yourself to others! Love yourself! This is the first step to your fitness journey.
