Tell me a little about yourself and your background?
I’m 22 years old from Sydney, Australia. I became Pescatarian 4 years ago and made the change to Vegan 2.5 years ago. I have always lived an active lifestyle, I swam competitively up until 16 years old, I did gymnastics from age 9-12 and throughout high school I played rep soccer and did competitive cheerleading.
What aspect of fitness do you enjoy the most?
Anything involving being outside or upside down.
How long have you been into fitness?
My whole life I have been into fitness, after school I joined a gym where I taught myself how to lift and my fitness journey really began from there.
How did you get into fitness?
I have always been into fitness, and have always been open to new types of training.
What was a turning point for you to take it seriously?
I honestly just started to enjoy training more and wanted to expand on my strengths and skills so I just started experimenting with different types of training.
How has fitness impacted your life?
The world of fitness has given me the opportunity to meet so many incredible people who are now my closest friends. Since leaving school the normal anxieties I would feel started to take over my life, fitness has helped me get through many low points over the last few years.
What words of advice or encouragement would you like to give to someone who is just starting out or would like to start but doesn’t know where to begin?
Start by finding something you genuinely enjoy, and from there along the way you’ll start to enjoy all different aspects of training. For me, training is a form of play and meditation.
