My names Mandy and I Love Life! It’s such a blessing to be alive and breathing and healthy!

I have a huge passion for health and fitness as well as Mission Work! I graduated from The University of Cincinnati with my BSN! I work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital on the Oncology Floor as a Nurse! I feel so blessed to have my job!

When I’m not at the hospital working, I’m usually in the gym lifting weights and working on bettering myself!

My daily life motto is: Another Day, Another Blessing! God is Good, Life is Beautiful!

What aspect of fitness do you enjoy the most?

The aspect of fitness I enjoy the most is 100 percent the mental growth that occurs from within! Yes, the physical gains are awesome, but fitness is so so so much more than losing weight and looking good!

The growth that occurs from within is absolutely life changing! Living a fit and healthy lifestyle will change you mentally and emotionally! It will transform your daily life! The mental strength you gain from fitness is indescribable! Your energy level and passion for life will 100 percent increase! It’s insane what fitness can do for you Friends!

How long have you been into fitness?

I’ve been into living a fit and healthy lifestyle for a little over 2 years now! Growing up I always loved sports and being competitive, but I stopped being active for about two years in college.

How did you get into fitness?

I got into fitness because a little over two years ago, I was going through a very challenging time in my life. Mentally I wasn’t in a good place and I knew I needed somewhere positive to turn. I decided to join a gym because I knew that would be at least two hours out of my day where I could turn the world off and focus on myself. I would plug into my music (I love music so much! It speaks to my soul!) and just focus on pushing myself.

When I started on my fitness journey, I never ever imagined it would lead me to where I am today! I simply started because I needed an outlet from the negativity that was filling my world and mind.

Wow, what a blessing it ended up being! I happened to stumble upon my passion and have never looked back!

How has fitness impacted your life?

Fitness and health has impacted my life in so many positive ways and for that I feel forever blessed! It has truly changed my life for the better!

Before I found fitness and health, I was insecure in myself; I didn’t have any self-love, and I definitely didn’t know my self-worth. I didn’t like who I was and life felt so challenging and blahhh.

Once I found fitness and health all of that changed! I understand how worthy I am! I truly love myself and I live each day to the absolute fullest, never taking anything for granted! The energy and passion I have for life is amazing!

Living this lifestyle has changed my life completely and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What words of advice or encouragement would you like to give to someone who is just starting out or would like to start but doesn’t know where to begin?

My best advice: don’t start your journey on a negative reason! Don’t start because you feel gross, you want to look better. Start because you love yourself and want to better yourself, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually! And let your positive reason why carry you on your journey!

It’s a long, sometimes tough journey, and results will not happen overnight!

Stay consistent and determined tho my friends, don’t let the bad days bring you down because you will have hard days.

Instead keep pushing forward and never give up, because YOU ARE WORTH IT!

And I promise, this journey is soooooooo worth it! Because what you will gain from it is indescribable, it truly is life changing!
