My name is Briauna Bosanko. I am 22 years old and live in Orange County, California. I was raised here and have been lucky enough to live here my whole life. I am a recent college graduate from California State University, Fullerton where I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology.
What I enjoy most about fitness is how it makes me feel. There is never a day that I work out and go “I wish I would have done something else”. Fitness makes me feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I have been into fitness for about 2 years, although I played sports almost my whole life.
I got seriously into fitness when I developed anxiety. I needed an outlet to make my anxiety go away and the only thing that truly helped me was getting a good workout, more specifically cardio.
The fact that working out helped so much with my anxiety and then realizing that I could help others through fitness led to me take it very seriously.
Fitness has impacted my life by making me a better person in general. This is my lifestyle now and I am blessed that I get to work out and influence other people in a positive way through a social media platform like Instagram. Most of all, I love to help others and share my story because most people would never know that I struggled with anxiety before taking fitness seriously. I hope that I can encourage others to be brave and to share their stories as well.
Don’t give up! Sometimes it can be hard to get into the flow of working out 5-6 times per week. Trust me, I had a really hard time with it as well and sometimes still don’t want to go to the gym some days. But remember, you’ll never go to the gym and walk out saying “I wish I would have done something else”.
